Weeds, Inc. has been in business since 1966 with an experienced staff of technicians and applicators who will work with you to create a custom application.  Headquartered in Aston, Pa with regional offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois, we cover from Baltimore to New York City and from Philadelphia to Chicago.

Weeds, Inc. guarantees, unless otherwise specified, a practical weed control program.  This means that isolated weeds may appear throughout the growing season, but will create no maintenance problem or fire hazard.  All work will be done to your complete satisfaction.  Should we fail to achieve this degree of control, we will re-treat as required without further charge.  This guarantee will afford you protection until November 1, of each program year.

HERBICIDE SALES - although our primary business is service, we do sell herbicides to those who prefer to make their own application.  In conjunction with our herbicide sales, we supply technical help for herbicide selection and application.  There is no charge for this service.  We are now distributors for Aventis, BASF, Brewer, Control Solutions, Dow AgroSciences, Drexel, DuPont, P.B.I. Gordon, Griffin, Milliken, Pro-Serve, and Monsanto Chemical companies and thus handle a broad spectrum of sprayable and granular herbicides.

SERVICE PROGRAM - our service program is complete in every way.  We assume full responsibility for your weed problems for the entire growing season at a firm price.  Any additional spraying which may be required during the course of the growing season on the areas under contract would be at our expense.  There would of course, be an additional charge for any new areas added during the course of the program.

METHOD OF HERBICIDE APPLICATION - Most herbicides are applied using water as a carrier.  The rate of spray can be increased or decreased according to working conditions by changing the nozzle size and the operating pressure.

SELECTION OF HERBICIDE - since we assume full responsibility for any damage to desirable vegetation under our service program and guarantee our results, the selection of herbicides is usually left to us.  Herbicides are selected on the basis of soil type and condition, the type of vegetation present, time of chemical application and the proximity of the area to be treated to desirable vegetation.  All herbicides employed are non-corrosive, non-flammable, and of low toxicity to mammals.

EQUIPMENT - Our fleet of John Bean sprayers range from 200-2000 gallons mounted on late model international chassis and pick-up trucks. Each truck is equipped with 1000' of hose allowing the applicator get to any location.  Maintenance is performed on a regular basis that keeps all units in top working order.

SPRAY PERSONNEL - All spray personnel are highly trained and highly skilled in herbicide application.  Everyone must successfully complete a year's training before they are given the responsibility of a spray unit.

INVOICING & TERMS OF PAYMENT - Our terms are Net 30 but since not every company is the same,  Pro-rated billing is not uncommon on large contracts and is often on a monthly or quarterly basis.

INSURANCE - We are fully insured with coverages that meet most industry standards.  Please let us know if you require coverage above these limits so arrangement can be made.  A certificate of insurance is available at the request of the customer.
